TSR Varia Issue 29: Open call for submissions
Terminology Science & Research - Terminologie : Science et Recherche provides a publication channel for those actively engaged in terminology research, in terminology practice and in terminology teaching.
For issue 29 of TSR, to be published in December 2026, the editorial board invites proposals for articles which address the focus areas of the journal, that is: theoretical and applied terminology and terminology-related research; terminology teaching and training; terminology management, terminology tools and policies. The journal can also accept other types of texts, for example book reviews on current relevant literature and position papers addressing recent or important questions within the field of terminology.
Manuscripts of up to 8.000 words in English or French, which specifically address one or more of these themes, are invited. More information on formatting requirements can be found on the journal website https://journal-eaft-aet.net/index.php/tsr/information/authors. Manuscripts will be peer reviewed by the members of the journal’s scientific committee and/or other reviewers, chosen by the editorial board.
Important dates
Deadline for submission of full papers: 1 May 2026.
Please submit your anonymised manuscript in English or in French at the journal platform.
Acceptance/Rejection notice: 15 September 2026.
Final papers due: 31 October 2026.
The issue is scheduled to be published online and in open access format in December 2026.
Manuscripts will be selected for publication through a double-blind peer review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from each other throughout the review process. Book reviews and position papers will be reviewed by the editors only.
Terminology Science & Research / Terminologie: Science et Recherche (TSR) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. No subscription is needed to access the articles and no download fees are charged. Authors are not charged for publications in this journal, neither submission fee nor article processing fee.
