Issue contains four of the papers presented at the panel session organized by Johan Myking and Birthe Toft within the framework of the XVIII European Symposium on Language for Specific Purposes, held 17 – 21 August 2009 at the Aarhus School of Business. Papers focuses on term formation within terminology, denominative variants referring to a specific concept in the field of aquaculture, the principle of motivation in term formation and motivation of English and Danish medical terms.
